When and why did you become interested in cycling? When I was 11 years old, through school.
What do you think you get out of cycling? A whole load of fun and feeling your best.
On average how many kilometres do you ride a week and with whom? Around 200km on the road and track with other friends from my coaching group.
Describe you most memorable ride? When I got to ride the UCI world road championship course in Geelong.
Give us a description of a ride you would rather forget? Probably all of the rides with steep hills!
What is
your favourite post cycle beverage? An Iced Chocolate would
be good.
What is your favourite cycle energy food? Cookies & Cream power bars + Trail Mix bars.
How do you cope with cold winter mornings? Windproof gloves and ear warmersJ
Is there anything that can be done to improve the on road relationship between cyclists and motorists? One metre (or more) matters!
What advice can you give those who are thinking of taking up cycling? Give it a go, you'll love it.
Who inspires you the most? My mum, she's amazing.
What is your life/cycle philosophy? Never give up, it may get harder but it's all worth it in the end
I often daydream about: getting to the top of a huge hill...
When you are not cycling you are: reading about / watching cycling, or out with friends.
When all else fails: go ride your bike, it makes everything better.
